Trustonion is an independent darknet marketplace review aggregator. We publish verified buyer reviews under a transparent methodology; we do not operate any marketplace, we do not take referral fees, and we do not run advertising.
An independent project run since 2024 by a small team of volunteers, all of whom are or have been buyers on the marketplaces we cover. The site is hosted on a clearnet domain with a Tor mirror; both serve identical content. The codebase is open and the deployment process is documented; the review database is fully reproducible from the signed reviewer attestations.
Trustonion covers Tor-based marketplaces with mandatory or default multisig escrow, a published PGP key, and a public signed announcements feed. We do not cover invitation-only or single-vendor shops, except where they have grown into general-purpose marketplaces meeting the listing criteria. Coverage is reviewed quarterly.
Trustonion does not run a public support inbox. Editorial corrections are accepted only as PGP-signed messages routed through the project\'s onion mirror; the procedure is documented in the project repository under CORRECTIONS.md. Press and research inquiries should follow the same flow.
